Meow to all and thank you for taking the time to view this. My name is Eric Minnerly and I am the owner of Feline Fanatics. I felt this article would be the best way to help you learn more about us as a business.

 We are a small, family run cat furniture business based out of Longmont, Colorado. Our team consists of myself, my wife Amy, my step-kids Steven & Aspen that love to help out when they can, and a few hand-picked skilled craftsman that share the love of felines like we do. Everyone that works with us owns at least one feline.

 We also have 4 product testers (all felines of course!) Jasmine (Calico)- Queen of the pack, Devious (Grey Tabby)- the name says it all, except for his 19 pound weight, Malachai (Charcoal Shorthair)- our quiet independent and Morpheus - our proud Selkirk Rex (Red Point) that has learned all of Devious' traits and is our top tester due to his overactive playstyle and his demand for a proper place to sleep!

 Now about our cat furniture: Every piece you see listed, is hand-crafted by us, one piece at a time. We feel that is the best way to ensure that you receive the best quality possible compared to assembly line products. Human craftsman are the best, not automated machines.

 Every product shows up at your door, fully-assembled. We feel that you shouldn't have to do the work after paying for the product itself. Besides, some people just don't have the time or patience to sit and read instructions. Our instructions are easy: Pull cat furniture out of box and place it where you want it! Done!

 Materials: All of our cat furniture is built from solid wood, 2x4's, 4x4's and OSB sheathing, NO MDF particle board or easily warped plywood. Since OSB is strong enough and safe enough to side houses with, it's puuurrffect for cat furniture. We also refuse to use any cardboard or plastic in our designs, they lead to instability and poor quality.

 All wood is secured with rough threaded drywall screws instead of nails or bolts which always tend to loosen over time. Our objective is to provide you with cat furniture that not only looks appealing, but is completely safe from wobbling or tipping. Safety for your cats is top priority with us.

 If you look closely at all of our designs, they are fully symmetrical, meaning all of the weight of perches, shelves and beds, are all directly above the base platform. This keeps the weight on the base and prevents tipping or wobbling when your felines jump on and off.

 Carpeting: We only use residential quality carpeting, NO faux fur, which is so nail proof that felines have trouble climbing and actually slip off of.

 We aquire our carpet selection from local stores that have been in business for over 35 years. We try to bring you a wider variety of color options than pet stores or other online retailers. We carry between 6 and 9 color options at all times.

 Besides materials, carpeting is one of the most important features of cat furniture. The feel of the piece once it hits your home, should be the same as purchasing a new couch or other household furniture. We believe you should be able to take pride in it and it should blend in with your home decor!

 Custom Work: Since we build all of these pieces ourselves, we welcome custom work for a few reasons. First, of course, is to make the customer happy and to give them exactly what they are looking for to the best of our ability. Second, 5 times out of 10, it could lead to a new design for us. So we welcome any requests you may have. Since we do ship these fully-assembled, there are box size limitations, but we will do the best we can.

 Customer Service: I personally handle 95% of all customer service. Both by email and by phone. Our phone number is (720) 204-5632. We are available 7 days a week so don't be shy with any questions, we welcome them all. Response time is minimal and personal, no automated emails or messages. Usually respond within a couple of hours in most cases.

 Shipping: We use Fedex Ground as our primary carrier. Shipping charges range from free to $30 maximum for one design. That is extremely fair pricing for our fully assembled cat furniture considering most shipments are oversized rated.

 We see a ton of inflated shipping costs on eBay and on other cat furniture sites. I am strongly against such charges, the nerve of people trying to make a double profit from both the product and shipping is disgusting. I sincerely hope eBay follows through on their strive to wipe out sellers with inflated shipping charges.

 Last but not least: I am extremely happy to say that we have a fantastic loyal customer base both on and off eBay. We have shelters, rescues, and breeders from across the country that will only buy their cat furniture from us. We even sponsor an educational TV show, based out of Mass., called The Pet Zone, hosted and produced by Sandy Marcal. Sandy is also a customer of ours!
